How it works
Generate the sample based on any background or instructions. You can also create the sample manually from scratch
Share the exam with students via a link – they just enter their name, no student account needed.
See students' results in real time with live updates. You can also chat with the students
Upload your own file, take a photo from a textbook chapter and upload it, paste any text, or choose a YouTube video. The AI generates relevant questions based on exactly the content you choose.
Choose between multiple choice, open-ended questions, reading comprehension, sentence completion, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, and many more. Select the number of questions per type and customize the exam based on the variation that best suits your needs.
Print the exam with a stylish layout that you can physically share with your students. Answer key is of course included. Or share digitally via exam code (no student account required), monitor results in real-time, and get automatic grading.
No usernames to remember. No passwords to reset. No accounts to create. Just a code - and the students get started.
Students go to studera.ai/student and enter your exam code. You follow their progress live and get all answers automatically graded.
You have full control over the exam design: whether to use a countdown timer and how much time students should get, whether they can request a hint per question (without revealing the answer), and whether they should see their results immediately after the exam or not.
Happy with the AI's suggestion? Approve it directly. Want to adjust? Edit manually or let the AI rephrase based on your instructions. Change the order of questions by drag-and-drop.
We support the OpenDyslexic font to make exams accessible for students with reading and writing difficulties. All students should have the same opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge. Students can easily switch to OpenDyslexic directly in the exam interface – without having to ask for special accommodations or stand out. Accessibility is a right, not special treatment.
You can easily change the order of your questions by dragging and dropping them. Drag a question smoothly to the desired position.

Choose the material you want to base the exam on, then select the number of questions and question types (multiple choice, open-ended questions, matching pairs, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, etc.), and our AI will generate relevant questions based on your content.
You can combine multiple question types in the same exam: multiple-choice questions, open-ended questions, reading comprehension, event sorting, matching pairs, fill-in-the-blank, and many more. You decide how many questions per type and tailor the exam to the variation that best suits your needs.
Yes, you can chat with students and they can chat with you. This is perfect for answering questions, providing quick help, and addressing uncertainties in real time during the exam.
Yes, our goal is to be as inclusive as possible, and we therefore support OpenDyslexic.
Yes, you can create exams with open-ended questions that are automatically graded by AI. For each open-ended question, you define a grading rubric with the expected answer and then choose a validation method: rubric only, AI knowledge only, or both. You set the maximum points for the question, and when the student submits an answer, the AI evaluates it according to your chosen method. The student immediately receives a score (0 to max) along with a short, constructive, and encouraging explanation.
The only question type where students enter free-text answers is open-ended questions. In these cases, the student’s name is anonymized when the AI evaluates the answer, meaning the response is not linked to the student’s identity. This ensures student privacy during the grading process.
No, no student accounts are required. There are no usernames to remember, no passwords to reset, and no accounts to create. You simply share a link with the students, they enter their name, and start the exam. No student administration is needed.
Yes, you can choose to print the exam using a clean, professional layout to distribute physically to students. An answer key is included. You can also share the exam digitally via a link to enable automatic grading and real-time result monitoring.
You have full control over the exam configuration. You can enable student chat, set a countdown timer with a fixed duration, allow students to request one hint per question (without revealing the answer), and choose whether students can see their results immediately after completing the exam.
With automatic grading, you save 5–10 hours per exam session. All responses are graded automatically upon submission. You can also choose to generate formative feedback based on the results and print it if needed.
